Nike Lifestyle Waffle Trainer 2 'White / Black'

The Nike Waffle Trainer 2 “White/Black” is a versatile, two-tone, white-and-black colorway of retro-infused lifestyle shoe that looks to the brand’s collection of ‘70s-era running shoes for design inspiration. A successor of sorts to the Nike Waffle Racer, a pioneering track shoe worn by elite runners in the 1970s, the Waffle Trainer 2 in the “Black/White’ colorway features a white nylon base with a contrasting black leather Swoosh on either side. The design of the Swoosh is reminiscent of the Swoosh branding found on Nike’s Daybreak, LDV, Waffle Racer, and other old school shoes. Contrasting tan suede appears on the toe and heel, as well as on the eyelets. Vintage “Nike” branding is printed on the black leather heel tab and black “Nike” with an orange Swoosh detailing appears on the tongue tag. Exposed foam is found around the nylon tongue. A black waffle rubber outsole completes the look. White / Black
