The Women’s Nike Air Force 1 Fontanka “Yellow Strike” is a women’s version of the popular lifestyle shoe with a modern design that nods to underground rave culture. The decidedly contemporary Air Force 1 Fontanka for women draws inspiration from a particular subculture: ideas and art of post-Soviet Union Russia. Specifically, the shoe features a white “cassette tape” in the Yellow Strike rubber midsole as a shout out to the St. Petersburg rave scene.
