The Nike Air Huarache Run “Aquatone” is an original colorway of the retro performance shoe designed by Tinker Hatfield that was re-released in September 2021. Brought back by Nike to celebrate the Air Huarache Run’s 30th anniversary, the “Aquatone” is one of multiple, vintage colorways of the old school running shoe that made headlines in 2021. The shoe features white leather overlays, a white mesh toe, and a Deep Magenta and Aquatone neoprene base. The plastic heel counter is designed in black on the sides and Deep Magenta on the heel. A black “Air Huarache” logo appears on the tongue and tonal “Nike” branding is found on the semi-translucent heel counter. The shoe sits on a white foam midsole and black outsole.
