Nike Basketball Air Trainer 1 'Shima Shima'

The Nike Air Trainer 1 “Shima Shima” is the modern re-release of the earth tone colorway of the retro cross-training shoe that debuted in 2003’s “Shima Shima” collection. The Air Trainer 1 was originally released in a “Shima Shima” colorway along with a Nike Air Max 1 and Nike Dunk in the Canada and Asia markets. Here, the brand brings back the Air Trainer 1 “Shima Shima” as a solo release for the first time. True to the original design, the modern interpretation of the colorway features an all-suede construction in brown. A dark brown suede Swoosh appears on both sides of the shoe and dark brown “Nike Air” branding is embroidered on the heel. Elsewhere, a brown midfoot strap with “Nike” branding is another design element that ties back to the original release.
