The Undercover x Nike Dunk High 1985 “Black” is a collaboration between Jun Takahashi’s high-end streetwear brand and Nike on the retro basketball shoe in a colorway that features Undercover’s signature avant-garde aesthetic. The “Black” or “Chaos” Dunk High 1985 by Takahashi and Undercover is one of multiple colorways designed by the popular Japanese streetwear designer that was released in 2021 and 2022. It features a black tumbled leather upper with white “CHAOS” branding on the left heel and “GLEICHGEWICHT,” the German word for “balance,” on the right heel. The German words “NEUES LEBEN” and “NEUER LARM” wrap around the collar on each shoe. The phrases translate to “new life” and “new noise,” respectively.
