The Nike Air Max 90 “Archetype” is based on an early sketch by the model’s designer, Tinker Hatfield. With an intentionally “unfinished” look, the “Archetype” is one of the more progressive Air Max 90s on the market today. Examples of the model’s “raw” aesthetic can be found on the exposed foam padding around the ankle collar, exposed white stitching above the stripped-down mudguard, and grey nylon eyelet overlay on the toe. Durable white mesh can be found on the toe. Overlaid grey suede panels appear on the forefoot and mid-panel. A white embroidered Swoosh can be found on either side of the shoe and translucent “Nike Air” detailing is located on the Bright Crimson overlay on the heel. Additional fiery red accenting dots the middle eyelet and the overlay that surrounds the visible Air unit in the heel. Release date: December 10, 2020. Archetype - Bright Crimson
