Nike Air Max Air Max Triax 96 'Doernbecher 2019'

The Nike Air Max Triax 96 “Doernbecher 2019” is a special design by patient Bransen Fernando for Nike’s “Doernbecher Freestyle” campaign that aligns with the Portland, Oregon children’s hospital. Giving patients the opportunity to design their very own sneaker, the Doernbecher Freestyle campaign has featured some of the more sought-after Nike and Jordan Brand designs year-after-year. This vibrant makeover of the Triax 96 features loving nods to Bransen’s journey to recovery after a kidney transplant. A kidney print dons the sockliner while a tiny Snoopy graphic on the forefoot and the date of the designer’s transplant are all unique details exclusive to the design. Hues of red and blue intertwine with black and white throughout the upper and can be found on the mid-panel, forefoot and heel.
